There are higher peaks in O Barbanza than this lookout, but this one shares the magnificent views that other places have of the Ría de Arousa.
This viewpoint is like a kind of skyscraper of rocks and shrubs.
Nearby is the route of «As mámoas», formed by about 30 funerary monuments that date back thousands of years. It is possible that the former settlers of these lands already used this viewpoint to monitor the territory, defend their families and orientate themselves.
