This arenal is the continuation of Carragueiros, separated by islets of Os Baos.
From the top of the hill that lies at the other end of A Retorta, the vastness of the Ria de Arousa with its coastal populations opens up. The excellent views from this arenal and the neighboring Carragueiros, the island of A Bensa, Cabo de Cruz and the dorsal of the mountain range of Barbanza complete the beautiful panoramic views that can be observed from this small elevation.
A 2km long promenade borders these two sandy beaches.
